When the Lord gives us a message, it is up to us to share it.
One thing I have learned in the past few years is that compulsion for our message is essential. Paul said "Woe is me" if I don't preach the gospel. Only God can light the fire, but once it is lit, don't let it go it. Share what you have been given.
It always amazes me how we look to each other for validation of our message, when we should be looking to God who has entrusted us. Perhaps we would be quicker to write, quicker to teach, quicker to preach, or quicker to sing if we had purposed in our hearts only to please God.
The Levitical sons of Zadok held a place of privilege in God because they did not follow the apostate crowd. When it came time to receive their position, they received God as their inheritance.
There is no higher ministry than to minister to the Lord. Go with your portion, go with your message, and deliver what you have been given. In return you will receive the best, and He is the best.
