I could minister and pray for people every day. After a great meeting in Illinois yesterday, I was reminded about one thing I really love. I really love to help people by ministering to them as I watch the Spirit of God touch people at the core of their being as He meets their every need.
The Lord often "wows" us. He often leads us to pray in areas so specifically that naturally speaking, we would never really be able to understand. During the worship service last night, I watched as the Lord identified specific need after specific need in His mercy and compassion. I found myself speaking things to people that only God could know. It is such an amazing reminder that God knows our every need and loves to minister to us. It is also a very humbling experience to be a vessel that God flows through to help his people. Actually, I am not sure what amazes me the most: the God who cares infinitely or the God who uses frail weak humans to help other folks. It is all pretty amazing, and it is enough to make me really thankful that I am a Christian.
A thankful minister,
Mark
