It may come as a surprise to many of us, but there are times in life when dreams come true. I am more than greatful to say that today, I had a huge dream come true.
In a way I wish that my dream was more spiritual, more profound, or even more unselfish, but that doesn't seem to matter when we are serving a benevolent God. It seems that the Lord is interested in even our natural desires, our less than lofty dreams, and even our somewhat shallow interests. To think that God cares about the little things in my life including my less than spiritual dreams is quite amazing. When my silly human dreams for natural things come true, I am simply overwhelmed that the God who made us is interested in the things that are important to us. Perhaps that is why the Psalmist said that if we would delight ourselves in the Lord, He would truly give us the desires of our heart. I have seen it again today, and the Psalmist was right.
